About Neal Patrick Martin
Neal has lived in the Northern California all of his life and currently resides on the Central Coast. When he moved to the Santa Cruz mountains in 1984, he discovered the beauty of the mountains, the beaches, and other sights. He likes to hike and photograph sights that often go unnoticed.
He earned a Certificate in Television Production from Laney College and a Bachelors degree from San Jose State University. Although Neal has taken many photography and videography courses, his skills have been developed over many years and many thousands of photographs.
During the Viet Nam war, Neal was stationed on the USS Kitty Hawk and many of his photos of the carrier flight deck, ie, jets and helicopters taking off and landing were published. Although he has had success producing portraits and photographing events, most of his work has been with still life and landscapes. Finding and using Unique and distinctive angles to view and photograph still life is his primary interest.
In 1990, he began to take a greater interest in Aerial Photography. In the last 21+ years, he has taken tens of thousands of photos of businesses, homes, and other properties from a "Birds eye view".
